Hi! I am Becca and I am 25 years old

I was so nervous to book a shoot with Erika right from the very beginning, I did not think I was the person to do a boudoir shoot, I didn't have the body, the image, self confidence, any of it, so I joined her facebook group and once I started to see the kind of person Erika was… funny, charming, honest, FULL of confidence and when I seen how others experiences went I decided to bite the bullet and book a session and boy am I ever GLAD I did. Erika managed to get me to see myself in a whole new way! I am beautiful, more confident and I now love the skin I am in.

I had sooooo may nerves and fears prior my session. I felt not pretty enough, not skinny enough, I thought I looked awful in lingerie, I was worried I would get camera shy. Honestly, I still wasn't sure of any of it at first.

I definitely felt nervous during the majority of the shot, but I was able to relax and let Erika take charge to make the shoot the best possible experience. I did feel more empowered and my self esteem grew with each piece of lingerie or lack of clothes there was at the end. I decided to do a session with Erika after being in the Facebook group for months, and after I seen one of my best friends photos and listened to her share her experience and have her constantly talking about how amazing Erika made the experience, I decided maybe Erika was the one to help me.

Before the session, I was shitting breaks.. hated all my outfits, hated my hair, I loved my makeup but that was about it. I wasn't sure what Erika would actually think of me in my outfits and how I would change in front of her, or even be pretty well naked in front of her considering I don't like being naked around my significant other. honestly, When the shoot was happening I did feel more empowered and my self esteem grew with each piece of lingerie or lack of clothes I had on. My life has changed since my session because even when I am having a bad day, I look back on the my 'teaser' photo and realize I am beautiful, my friends think I'm kickass, my significant other does not care about the extra pounds, rolls, scars and that he actually loves me and my body for who I am.

When I first saw my photos I was nervous, shocked and again nervous.. at first I still caught myself looking at my rolls, scares, and fat in all sorts of places, but after scrolling few and looking at them all, 3-4 times I started to see the beauty in the photos, and how I looked was actually AMAZING, I seen genuine smiles, and my eyes looked happy, and my body showed confidence.

Getting to know Erika on a different level while wearing next to nothing was really one of the highlights of my experience, you really get to know her, as well as you find she asks things about you, pushing you passed those 'scary' boundaries, and her genuine interest in making sure you looked AMAZING, even if some of the positions were a killer. haha She’s right though, the more fucked up it feels the better it looks!

My advice to anyone thinking of booking a session is it’s normal to feel shy, nervous or lack confidence. I blame the magazines for that, and the unrealistic expectations they put in your head at a young age. But booking with Erika and getting to know her a bit before hand, having a phone interview with her, makes your realize they don’t care if you are 18 or 88, a size 00 or 18, have perky boobs or ones that dangle, they still think you are the most amazing beautiful human out there and they do everything in their power to have you see you in their eyes/camera lens. I would suggest someone to book with EFP because, Erika and Maici are the most amazing, empowering, funny, genuine photographers out there. They work WITH you, so you have the most amazing experience ever, as well as push those limits that you normally would not do, and they make you shine.
